A graphic video of a woman paraded naked has resurfaced. But this is a clear example of violation of constitutional rights. The incident occurred on August 20, and was triggered by the death of a year old boy Bimlesh Sao, whose body was found on a railway track at Bihiya town, Bhojpur.
The mob also set several shops on fire and thrashed other locals.

The incident took place on Monday after the body of a year-old man, Bimlesh Sah, was found on railway tracks. Soon after this, angry locals resorted to widespread violence and held the woman and her family responsible for the murder. The angry mob also set several houses and vehicles on fire. The protestors then paraded the woman naked and thrashed her in public.

In yet another shocker laying bare the state of law and order in the state, a woman was paraded naked by a mob on the streets of Arrah city in Bhojpur district of Bihar on the suspicion of her involvement in the killing of a year-old man in the area, police said. Dramatic visuals of the property being set ablaze and woman being paraded naked while being slapped and hit have emerged online. The victim, identified as Vimlesh, was found dead at the railway track near Bihiya station. Some of them suspected that those living in a red-light area nearby would have strangled the youth to death. He added that the villagers stormed the place, setting on fire a number of shops and beating up several residents. The irate mob then picked up a woman, dragged her out on the street, ripped off her clothes and paraded her naked while kicking and slapping her, the SP said.
The protesters set ablaze a number of roadside stalls, houses besides motorcycles. They blocked the main road and Patna-buxar railway tracks, disrupting vehicular and railway traffic for more than three hours. They also pelted stones on passenger trains and police. Security has been beefed up in and around Bihiya following the clashes. The woman was probably attacked as the deceased Bimlesh Kumar alias Chhotu Sao was last seen with her. IG N H Khan said the woman has been rescued from the rampaging mob and four policemen, including Bihiya SHO, have been suspended for dereliction of duty.
